I can't get over how amazing this wedding was! When I met Shean and Marlaina last year I knew I was going to LOVE working with them. They are two down-to-earth, warm-hearted, friendly, open and absolutely in love individuals. We hit it off right away at our initial meeting. As we planned out their engagement session and talked wedding details, I got more and more excited to shoot for them. So it was no surprise when their wedding turned out totally gorgeous and full of heart-warming moments. But holy cow! I was seriously blown away by how perfectly it all came together and by how amazingly honest and loving their relationship and their families are. There were SO many jaw-dropping, teary-eyed moments at this wedding. I think my heart melted 1000 times. 

I know I can't even begin to put into words how truly special it was.  I hope these images show you a glimpse of the love they share, and the incredible bond that now unites these two families.

Elizabeth and Chris were married in a private ceremony on the beach at sunrise. I'll admit that I'm not a morning person. But every time I get up for an early session I am in love with the result. The light is amazing! It may only last a short while, but oh my it's stunning! This day was no exception.  Watching these two promise themselves to each other was nothing short of magical.

Sandbridge Beach Wedding Photographer - Sharon + Allen

Sharon and Allen were engaged to be married on August 23 on Sandbridge Beach. Sharon is a photography enthusiast and the groom's family knew that photography was very important to her. Still, the couple was planning only a small gathering for family, and they had decided against investing in a wedding photographer. The family decided it would be a wonderful gift to surprise the couple with a photographer for their wedding day! 

The elegant decor and florals were created and styled by Allen's sister, who is a talented wedding planner and florist in New York (Catskill Weddings).

I have shot a wedding where the guests were surprised by the couple, but not one where the couple was surprised by their guests! It was such a fun experience the bride was overjoyed. What an incredible gift!

Sharon and Allen were so warm and welcoming, as were all their family members. It was a beautiful beach ceremony, and the day was filled with so much joy and love. It was truly an honor to participate in this event. 

Congratulations and very best wishes for many happy years Mr. & Mrs. Fitzgerald!

Sandbridge Wedding Photographers - Beach Cottage Wedding

I'm sharing peeks today from the lovely beach wedding of Jana and Taylor! They were married recently on Sandbridge beach and the wedding prep and reception all took place in a beautiful, and big, beach house just steps from the ocean. In case you are wondering, this lovely cottage named "Over the Moon",  is managed by Sandbridge Realty is available to rent. 

I adore the colors they chose for their wedding! The pastel blue-green, beige and white were the perfect compliment to a beach wedding. Jana even made many of the decorations and the bouquets herself. I was very impressed!

Small family weddings are some of my favorite. Don't get me wrong, I love a grand affair complete will opulent details and sweeping views of a stunning venue. But a quaint gathering of those you hold most dear on your wedding day is sometimes all you need. 

I had the honor of shooting this gorgeous Sandbridge beach cottage wedding for Lindsay and Brandon. With the help of family and friends, they were able to plan the whole thing from North Dakota. And you know what? It was perfect. Down to every last detail, this destination beach wedding with blue and silver accents was simply perfect. 

We were blessed with a beautiful blue sky, warm sunshine, and a gentle breeze. The beach cottage decor was accented by simple elegant touches and beautiful white florals. And oh the warmth and love surrounding this union was palpable! It really was a perfect day and I couldn't be happier for Mr. and Mrs. Smith.
