Many of you have asked, so I've cleared a few spots for holiday minis- yay!! Get 'em while you can! I only have a few appointments available. These sessions are open to couples, individuals, and families (immediate family members only please). Includes a 20 minute session and 8 digital files with a print release.

These photo sessions will be short and sweet. Perfect for a few holiday card photos, or updated portraits. No elaborate props or themes, just focused on you and your loved ones! You are, however, welcome to bring a few of your own props if you choose. 😀

Hey friends! It's that time of year again. Summer is winding down and back to school sales are exploding everywhere. As much as I hate to say goodbye to summer, it is time to gear up for fall sessions!

There are tons of beautiful locations in Hampton Roads that make the perfect backdrop for a fall family session, or holiday photos. We're fortunate to enjoy mild weather and stunning color throughout most of the season. 

If you are wanting holiday card photos of update family lifestyle pictures, now is the time to plan your session.

My appointment calendar is nearly full for the remainder of the year, with family sessions, engagement portraits, and fall weddings. Spring has sprung and that means Mother's Day is just around the corner. This year, I didn't have time to fit in spring minis, as wedding season started early and full on, but I have held a few appointments for motherhood sessions because it really feeds my soul to capture that special bond between a mama and her kiddos. 

These sessions are not for perfect poses and "cheese" grins. They are a chance to take some time just for you and your babies, to make something meaningful and tangible.  To create some beautiful images, but to also just focus on loving, snuggling, smooching, giggling and savoring those small moments that have such a huge and lasting impact. 

I have only a few spots open unfortunately, though I would love to shoot these more often! Sessions are limited to mamas and their children, or grandmas and their grandbabies. Session fee of $199 includes a 30 minute session, on online gallery and 10 digital images to download with a print release. Sessions will take place on location in Hampton Roads. I met the most beautiful little family for a mini session at Oak Grove Park a couple of weeks ago! Grandma had purchased a gift certificate for their mini session - what an awesome gift! We scheduled their portraits in time to take advantage of the beautiful fall color, and to commemorate this cutie's first birthday!

I've always been in love with ginger-haired babies and this little one stole my heart at hello! 

Our mini session was short and sweet, but full of beautiful images and happy memories nonetheless. It was the perfect amount of time for a busy one year old, for sure. I, on the other hand, could have photographed these lovely folks all night. (Bring me all the redheads please!)

It's that time again! Time to say farewell to summer. I am sad to see her go, but I can't wait for the cool, crisp fall weather!

That gorgeous warm color always makes me swoon. Leaves crunching underfoot, steamy mugs of spiced goodness, sweaters and boots - I love it all!

Spring is on it’s way and the gorgeous Cherry Trees will soon be blooming! I have time this year for only three mini sessions during the bloom season. These are some of my favorite sessions throughout the entire year! These gorgeous blossoms can’t be beat for the perfect spring portrait back drop. If you wish to snag one of these appointments, don’t delay. These spots will go quickly!

Details about these seasonal portrait mini sessions:

 $200: Session includes 20 minutes of the photographer’s time. Up to 4 family members may be included in your session. Additional subjects will incur an additional fee. 5 retouched high resolution digital images will be available for download from your online proofing gallery. Gallery will be ready two weeks after session date. Print purchases may be placed a la carte through your personal online gallery. A contract and invoice payment are required to reserve an appointment. VA Sales tax will be added to invoices when applicable. Please note:  Peak bloom time varies from year to year. Appointments will be scheduled for late March/early April. I only schedule a small handful of these sessions to allow flexibility for weather and bloom time changes. I cannot, however, guarantee that blooms will be at their peek for your session date. I will make every effort to schedule appointments for peak bloom days.  All appointments will take place in the evening. Please inquire for further details.
